November has come around again! Didn't that happen last year? ~wink~ A lot of people think about turkey and dressing this month. And some just skip right to the big event that happens in December-CHRISTMAS! There is a holiday before Christmas and after Halloween-THANKSGIVING!
But I like to do something a little different. Instead of just saying what we are thankful for on Thanksgiving, how about take each day of November and say (type) what we are thankful? So that's just what I've been doing. On my personal Facebook account, I have taken a specific blessing in my life and poured out my heart on how thankful I am for that blessing. It actually makes you stop and ponder on all the things in your life you are thankful for. Instead of hurriedly thinking of a few items while you are cooking the turkey, you specify each day a different blessing.
So, for those out there reading this right now. Try something new, list something you are thankful for each day of the rest of November. Next year, start on the 1st and go on through the rest of the month.
Make November more than just turkey and dressing. Make it THANKfulness Month!
I am so estactic, I can't breathe. Of course, I get excited fairly easy :-)
I have commissioned a designer to design my e-book cover. Just another step to a finished product! YAY!!! So within the next few weeks, I will do a cover reveal of my first book on this website FIRST! I feel confident the cover will be amazing. The company I am using is AMYGDALA Book Cover Design and their covers are awesome!
It took me months researching and digging around on the Internet to find a company that could possibly bring my vision to life (and not cost an arm and leg....). I also looked at some of the designers of the books I have read recently. I found a few others that were in the running but this company just seemed to fit. Hopefully my gut feeling turns out to be correct and by the end of this month my amazing cover will be ready. Then......maybe my book will be edited by the end of the year and I can get it uploaded and out there for the world to read.
I can't breathe again!!!! The excitement is too much! Ok, ok, I'm better.
